Studio Policies

COVID-19 POLICY AS OF AUGUST 2021
Beginning August 16, 2021, per the mandate implemented by the city’s Mayor, only those individuals who can show proof of vaccination will be admitted into the studio. 

If you have already shown us proof or can show us proof via your card, through the Excelsior Pass App, or the new NYC Covid Safe App then you may continue attending class and sessions per usual.

If you are not vaccinated or cannot show us proof than you cannot currently attend class or sessions.

If you are not vaccinated or cannot show us proof and have a membership or package please contact our front desk and we can put a hold on your services as a courtesy. Or you may continue your Pilates practice with our digital offerings. 

If you are vaccinated we still STRONGLY ENCOURAGE wearing a mask while in the studio, although it is not required by the city at this time. 


RESERVATION POLICIES

Appointments and classes (except Mat classes) are 55 minutes and bookings may be made with our front desk staff, through our mobile app, and online through our booking system on our website.  For first-time clients, please arrive a few minutes early to complete your client forms.

CPNYC accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Gift cards can be purchased by emailing info@corepilatesnyc.com or send an e-gift certificate through our website.

Is the class you want to take full? Join the waitlist! If a spot opens up, you’ll receive a text message letting you know. All you have to do is text back to confirm and you’re in!

Wondering what to wear? Clothing that allows a full range of motion is ideal. Leggings, yoga pants, or bike shorts, paired with a comfortable top work best. Shoes are not permitted in the studios. Please feel free to wear socks or work out in bare feet if you prefer.

Running late? For any of our classes, you have a 10-minute window from the start time of the scheduled class to keep your reserved spot. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes after a class begins may not be permitted to participate in the class and will be charged for the session in full. For private sessions, our teachers are required to wait 20-minutes and if we do not have any notice, they are free to leave and you will be charged the full amount for that session.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of private sessions must be made 24-hours in advance and classes with a 12-hour advance notice. Reservations can be canceled online through your Mindbody account, our app, or by calling the studio. Cancellations made with less than the required amount of notice will be subject to a full charge for the appointment or class.

All sales are final but may be transferred.


EXPIRATION POLICY
We offer buy backs of any expired classes or sessions if you have sessions or classes left after the expiration date. $5 buy back to reactivate any mat classes remaining; $10 buyback to reactivate any remaining apparatus classes, and $20 to buy back any private sessions. The buy back is valid for one month.
FACILITIES

We provide mats for all classes, filtered drinking water, Nitro Cold Brew coffee tap, dressing room and reception/retail area.

PRE & POSTNATAL CLASSES:

We require a written note from a doctor stating that working out is safe for your pregnancy.
