Day 1 begins by logging into your CPNYC Comprehensive learning platform online. Our precourse is an online self-paced study moderated by a CPNYC faculty member. You’ll have a month to cozy up with and be saturated with media content from instructional videos, manuals, interactive discussions and quizzes. Self-paced to show up on day one super prepared.
The Mat Training Course is included within the Comprehensive course curriculum. Students become fluent in teaching over 30 Pilates mat exercises, the classical Pilates beginner and intermediate mat sequence, as well as innovative modifications to challenge or simplify each exercise according to varying fitness levels or common injuries.
Beginner Module is considered our official starting point! After completing the pre-course online, we join together for the first time to kick-off the live studio apprenticeship at the studio in New York. We dive right into the classical Beginner System on all the apparatus with emphasis on orders, technique, cueing and teaching confidence. We include the Beginner Mat in this module.
Intermediate Module. It’s getting real during month 3 as we present and workshop together a more robust collection of the classical Pilates exercises – the intermediate level. It’s a loaded month that includes Intermediate Mat.
You've practiced and taught the beginner and intermediate levels and are now ready for the most choreographic of the classical repertoire - the Advanced Reformer. Here you will dive deep into all 6 principles, take part in our Anatomy in Clay course, start teaching outside bodies and begin truly finding your voice and personality as a teacher.
We’ve incorporated the most applicable workshops that any new teacher who hits the market should become familiar with. You'll learn small equipment, special cases, modern props, and take part in our Tower wars event to get your class structure on point. Options to enroll in our workshops that align with each of our program cycles, Classical Advanced Mat, Pilates for Pregnancy and Beyond, Wundaful Wunda Chair, Pilates for Back Care and more.

A deposit of $1,000 is required to secure a place in the course.
Final balances are due 2 weeks prior to the commencement of training. Following your deposit, your tuition can be paid in full or by payment plan.
If you cancel 30 days prior to course start date, your payment will be refunded less an admin fee of $100 and any transaction and payment processing fees incurred.
If you cancel within 30 days before course start date, 50% of your payment will be refunded less a $100 admin fee and any transaction and and payment processing fees incurred.
Once the course starts absolutely no refunds will be issued.
