Overview
Gain a deeper understanding of why Pilates is considered “intelligent movement” while learning how to teach on the apparatus.
To know the apparatus is to love the apparatus. Especially when instructing. Whether you enroll as an apprentice in our extensive Comprehensive Training Course or take your time with our level modules, you will become fluent messengers of all things (and levels) Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, Towers, Barrels, Pedi Pull, Foot Corrector, Sand Bag, and other props such as the Magic Circle.
System
The apparatus is presented based on a prescribed order. Learn how to maintain optimal flow, transitions, and orders for beginner, intermediate and advanced level exercises on the classical Pilates apparatus.
Integration
Our courses teach you how to structure a balanced session that utilizes the classical apparatus. See how an exercise on the Reformer is similar to one on the Chair, Mat and Cadillac…
Students who have trained as a Pilates Mat Instructor enjoy great success but usually return to complete their education as a fully trained instructor on all Pilates apparatus. Knowledge of the full systems of the Method and how each integrates into a session is where the teaching experience deepens – for the teacher and the client.
Preparedness
Our apparatus training courses prepare students upon graduation to train all levels of Pilates to people of all ages. Students receive the strongest foundation as an instructor of Pilates apparatus and from there are prepared to study additional methodologies or specializations and take the PMA certification exam if they choose to.
Marketability
The doors are open wide for opportunities as a fully trained instructor from our Comprehensive or Module courses. Most equipped fitness centers and Pilates studios seek out instructors who have gone through a rigorous apparatus training program.
Get Results
The reward as a Pilates teacher comes in seeing the results of clients. The most effective way of delivering results is through the design of a balanced session that utilizes the Reformer and other apparatus in its training.
