Do you have any specialties with Pilates that you focus on?

Prenatal Pilates training is something I very excited to specialize in. I will be starting a Prenatal Props class at Core Pilates NYC as well as a Mommy & Me class there also! I class I will soon be participating in after I have my first child due very soon!

Why the pre and post natal populations? Why did you see a need for additional programming?

Pregnant and post pregnant women benefit so much from training their pelvic floor muscles and Pilates is the ONLY method of exercise that focuses SO much on this part of the anatomy. Women will always seek this Method of exercise for a healthy pregnancy and body and I want to be on the cutting edge of this demand in facilitating their needs.

Mat Class Gone “Mad”

The first time I taught a group Pilates mat class, I felt like I was going to (expletive verb) swing. I asked the (adj) perky class, if anybody was new to Pilates and they had all been taking class for (number) 57 months. After I found out how long the (adj) trusting class had done (adj) silly Pilates, I had to throw my plan out the (adj) slimy door! Their Hundred looked like (noun) socks gone wild, and their Teaser was (adj ending in ing) charming.

(exclamation!) Oy Vey! Someone (verb) fussed which made the class go wild. (body part plural) belly buttons were (verb ending in ing) clapping like (animal) sloths everywhere. And I only had (number) 9 seconds to get the class to Seal. You could see the sweat through my (article of clothing) spanx. In the end, my (adj) murky class left feeling (adj ending in er) smellier, and I feel (positive emotion) grateful to be a Pilates instructor. Sign up now for my (exclamation!) snappy class
