What an awesome June it was! I did epic amounts of Pilates, learned how to teach, and got certified! I’ll be teaching on Monday mornings at Core in the fall – yahoo!!

July brings with it an epic adventure. Last year I spent five weeks in Vietnam in a rural village outside of Ho Chi Minh City. I taught English and impromptu dance classes to kinds, teens and adults in the community. It was exciting, uncomfortable, scary and amazing – I learned a ton. To read more about it check out the photo blog I kept while I was over there, Duc Linh Diaries. This July, I’m GOING BACK!

I’m going to meet my man in the city of Hanoi, and then we’ll cruise in Halong Bay, trek through the mountains of Sapa and finally make our way down to Ho Chi Minh City and journey out to the village to say hi to all the kiddies I taught last year. I’m in a very different place in my life than I was last year (read: 1,000 million times better) so I’m so curious to see how the experience is different this time I around. I think it will be pretty awesome.

Needless to say, as my body has gotten used to doing Pilates approximately all the time, I’m planning to keep it up on the road – during my layover at the airport, in hotel rooms, in rice paddies (not really). Keep working that jackknife for July – see ya in August!

Love and C-curves,

Laura
